Employment History

Facebook / Meta - August 2018 -

I was initially hired into Facebook/Meta to work on the WiFi driver/ framework for their “Project Orion” AR glasses operating system and hardware. It ended up growing into a larger BSP bring-up and design role and from that into a multi-purpose power/thermal/platform efficiency role.

I’ve since worked on their wearables platforms, including the Project Orion AR glasses, the Meta Rayban Display glasses, and upcoming AR and other undisclosed wearables products.

Although my primary focus was power, thermal and platform efficiency, I ended up spending most of my time driving ad-hoc cross functional efforts across all hardware, firmware and software parts of each product.

I found myself bridging hardware, software, firmware, verilog design and ASIC validation with teams to help each understand each others needs and deliver working solutions up and down the product stack from silicon up through to graphics/audio presentation layers.
